Hammock Time
Hammock Time is a free iPhone app. There are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. We did not add analytics SDKs.
Location
The app collects approximate or precise location solely to fetch weather for the notify bar. You can follow the phone or pin a hammock. Location is used for weather, not for advertising or profiling.
Weather
Weather comes from Open-Meteo, a third party. The app sends coordinates to Open-Meteo to get the current conditions.
Place name
Reverse geocoding runs on device via Apple so the app can show a place name. That lookup stays on the phone.
Notifications
Pings are local notifications only. The app does not use Apple Push Notification service.
What stays on the device
- Notify bar (Good, Great, or Perfect)
